Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s influence on our culture is a large and powerful one. She was faced with so much adversity, but still powered through because she knew what she was striving for was important and groundbreaking. For a woman to hold one of the most powerful positions you can have in our country is something many people thought they would not have seen in their lifetime. She is someone that young women can look up to and strive to be. Her legacy will forever live on and impact generations of young women for years and years to come.
As for the nickname “Notorious RBG,” it was created by a law student while talking about Ginsburg on Tumblr! The nickname was a play off the rapper “The Notorious B.I.G.”
